Hi All,
Fist of all let me say that this is my first post on this forum and I'm not sure which attempt to resolve the issue.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Issue
Assassins Creed Unity returns error 0xc000007b when trying to launch.
Game originates from Uplay (however I had a steam version installed as well - the same problem).
I have tried the following:
- Reinstalling the game (2 times)
- Installing Direct X (June 2010)
- Updating C## visual studio
- swapping the dll files in system32 and sysWOW64
- Run as administrator
- Run in compatibility mode (win 7 & win8)
- Re installed Direct X12
No results so far.
I even had Microsoft Online Support looking at the issue for 1.5h performing various checks and running PowerShell.
I don't thing this is a hardware problem as PC is new:
Hardware configuration:
- 16GB DDR 4 Ram
- Nvidia GTX970 MSI
- Intel Core I5 6600
I feel like I've tried everything (searched forums etc.).
I guess my next step will be to do clean Windows Install again and see if this helps, unless I will be able to get some answer from community.
Thank you,
Simon
